How can we bring the outside in? As Microsoft enters a new era they are reimagining their workplaces. Gensler tackled the remaking of two buildings on Microsoft's original campus and partnered with my team at Digital Kitchen to create a signature interactive experience that thematically connects nature, presence and technology.
Using dynamic connect created in Processing and integrating with Microsoft's own Kinect technology, we created ever changing, reactive environments that invite discovery and self expression for workers and visitors alike.

Our audio and visual themes used organic behaviors such as flocking, clouding, refraction and liquidity to create "slivers" of nature within the space.
